Children’s Rights in the Sudan

Sudan has also ratified the African Charter on the Rights and Welfare of the Child. The CRC contains four general principles: non-discrimination (Article 2); the best interests of the child (Article 3); the right to express views and be heard (Article 12); and the rights to life, survival and devel- opment (Article 6).
